Magically Speaking: I'm now a contributing editor for Magically Speaking! The biweekly newsletter of The Mouse for Less travel group offers abundant vacation planning tips, the latest travel specials and deals, and fun trip reports that are sure to inspire your next vacation (or will at least give you the chance to travel vicariously until your next trip).

Extinct Attractions: Dedicated to documenting the history of Disney parks' retired and present-day attractions through DVDs and events featuring meet-and-greets with Disney Legends. I am thrilled to edit and contribute to the DVD scripts for upcoming releases.

MousePlanet: An excellent source for late-breaking Disney park news, along with a great community feeling that's enhanced by their twice-yearly Disneyland Resort event, the crazy scavenger-hunt/trivia/Amazing Race-style team game, MouseAdventure! My husband Brad and I (also known as the Tiki Twosome around MouseAdventure time) are former first-place champions, finally proving that we are officially the biggest Disneyland dorks around.

UC Davis Prized Writing: The annual book publication that compiles the school year's top essays. My essay (using my mom's third-graders as inspiration) on Harry Potter in public schools, "Magic in the Classroom," was included in this issue.
